Katie Price has been caring for and supporting her son Harvey throughout his life. The 42-year-old media personality's eldest son is partially blind, autistic and has Prader-Willi syndrome. New BBC documentary, Katie Price: Harvey and Me, sees the former glamour model open up about their lives as Harvey turns 18. It also looks at the decisions Katie must make for Harvey's future as he becomes an adult. The relationship between Harvey and his dad, Dwight Yorke, is virtually non-existent, despite Katie wanting him to be part of her son's life. Katie was dating former Premier League footballer Dwight when she became pregnant with Harvey. The mum-of-five was just 23 when she discovered she was expecting her first baby. Her relationship with the former Manchester United player was brief as Katie found out Dwight had cheated on her live on camera, while she was pregnant. She was being filmed for a TV show, Katie was shown a newspaper splash where Dwight had been papped holding hands with the Australian model Gabby Richens. After finding out he had cheated, Katie revealed she was expecting Dwight's baby. Throughout the rest of her pregnancy, the exes had a rocky relationship. Dwight visited his son in the hospital after he was born, but then made the decision not to be part of his life. The footballer opened up about his lack of contact with Harvey back in 2009, as he said in an interview: "It is a combination of different things, one my time schedule and being based up in Manchester and a footballer on an everyday basis. "Not sitting here and say I'm a total perfect father, I've made mistakes along the way and I would love to turn the clock back." Katie has been open about wanting Dwight to be more involved with Harvey's life, and she's previously said the door is always open. In December last year, she shared a heartbreaking video of Harvey asking for his dad. When Katie asked Harvey who he wanted to write a message to on Instagram, the 18-year-old replied: "Daddy Dwight." "I love you, Daddy Dwight. You look beautiful," added Harvey when asked what he would say to him.
